Busy and New Videos!

Hello everyone! I haven't had much time to post lately. We've been busy working on the summer kitchen. Yesterday hubby installed one of the new beams and did all the wiring in the summer kitchen and craft room. He also installed the new lights in the bathroom and hallway! I love them! Soon he'll be doing the insulating in the ceiling then finish the dry walling. I can't wait until it's done, it will be so helpful to have the extra kitchen room. The sewing room will be a wonderful help as well. My sewing and mending stack is getting pretty big. lol

I've been posting videos over at my other blog. I'll try to add them here latter, but honestly it's so much easer to do on the other one! I can post a video there with one click, here it takes up to 5 minutes to code each video.

Hello everyone! I haven't had much time to sit down here and share. I've been busy trying to get caught up around here. Why is it the house falls apart so fast when your sick, but takes twice as long to get caught up? lol I've posted some new videos one our website, I'll try and post them here latter if I have time. In the mean time you can see them here.

Last week we were out shopping when a storm blew in. Coming home it was pretty nasty. We hit a good snow drift 2 feet high (at least) and very long. Even though we were going slow it jarred my back. Pulled the muscles tight for a day or so I was moving very slow.

Baby boy, dd2 and dd5 are all teething! So fussy little ones are keeping me up at night. At least dd5 doesn't fuss like the babies. She's quite proud of her new teeth coming in!

Today was our bulk shopping day. We still have quite a bit from last time, so it was nice not to have to pickup as much. Dh decided he wanted to get a juicer. We both want/need to loose some weight this year. We are hoping to change our diets to more fresh foods and juices. I'll let you know how we like the juicer after we give it a good testing.

I'm still knitting away about a 1/4 done the balaclava for my Uncle. I stopped and picked up some more yarn today for the next one. Well I'm off for now, going to do some work on my blogs and watch a movie with hubby.

Faith Series Can I Prove God?

A lot of questions get thrown my way over the years, but some ask can I prove it? Even Christs own disciples asked him to show the Father and it would finally convince them. Even after all they had seen. So here is some of my thoughts on the matter.

Busy Week & Christmas

This past week has been so busy! I hope you have all had a wonderful and safe week.

Earlier in the week we visited with my aunt and uncle. Had a wonderful time!

Christmas Eve day I finally got up the energy to do some baking! I made Scottish shortbreads and a peanut butter rice krispy treat. A friend of dh called in the morning and asked if we would like a big box of pork (ground, chops and roasts) at a great price. He was just looking to help cover the cost of butchering. That was so nice! We had the chops for Christmas Eve supper.

Despite the rain on Christmas day we had a great time. Our little ones were gifted with some new clothes, different building block sets, a toy cash register that works like a calculator and a Dr. kit. Oldest dd also received a knitting with Mickey Mouse kit. She was thrilled! They are still playing with their new goodies. I loved watching them combine the different building sets to make huge buildings.

We were very happy that we didn't get the freezing rain they were calling for all week. But we did loose half of our snow from the rain. The past two days all the snow and ice slabs have been falling off the roof. Makes for some big bangs!
