Chasity Burrell is the Happy Christian Homesteading wife to her husband Shannon. They have four wonderful children whom they homeschool. She loves God, her family and her home and is always looking for new ways to help their home run more efficiently and frugally. She loves living simply, and learning the art of doing things 'the old fashioned way'. She enjoys quilting, sewing, crocheting, gardening, canning, cooking and baking. You can visit her and read more about her family life and her homesteading adventures in her blog My Cup Runneth Over...

Welcome to HomesteadBlogger, an informative and friendly online community for homesteaders, homesteaders at heart, and people interested in homesteading. We want you to join in and tell us what homesteading means to you.

Are you working towards living totally off-grid? Do you use alternative building materials or energy sources? Would you love to develop your farm into something where your family could earn an income and not have to work away from the farm? This is the place to share what you are doing and what you are learning, as well as to ask any questions you might have.

Maybe you're just interested in getting back to the basics or incorporating the homestead mindset wherever you are. Today people are embracing the ideas of simplicity and self-sufficiency whether they live in urban, suburban or rural areas. Whether you have a container garden on your patio in the city or 300 acres out in the sticks, you are welcome here.

Setting up a blog at HomesteadBlogger is free and simple. Blogging is a great way to keep a journal of your experiences and to get to know others that share your interests. Set up your blog today. We'll be here to help you!
