The Zoo

Windy, snowy day.

With the windchill it's about 3 degrees out.  Winds are blowing about 30 mph.  Not as much snow as we had expected, but with the wind I really can't tell since it's blowing all around. Guess it's really bad in town though since all the schools are closed along with a ton of businesses.  DH went in to work.  I don't expect they'll have many customers except for those who got in accidents and get towed in.
Forgot to bring the bucket of chick feed in last night before the storm, so when DD went to feed the chickens this morning she had to dig the bucket out of a snowdrift on the back porch and bring it in the mud room.  Chicks were happy since they were out of food.
I made a broccoli quiche last night that was a big hit. I'll post the recipe here in a little while.
