Way too cold
OOOh brrrr! It's way too cold to do anything outside today. -20 degree weather means I have to keep us all busy inside. Just about everyone here is sick so we'll probably end up crashing in front of the TV and watch the Olympics and a movie.
Hope everyone else is warm and cozy!
Brrrr Cold here too

The high yesterday was a whopping 10. Last nite it dipped below zero. This morning at 4 am when I arose it was 7. Too cold for anything except staying under the blankets. We've only been in this very old home for almost 2 months so all the heat we have is the gas furnace and it's working overtime.
I didnt realize that Carla Emery passed away. That's so sad. Shines a different light on reading the wisdom in her book. That just really makes me sad. The book is wonderful. What a work of love she did. This last edition is updated with websites and new mailorder sources, etc. 9th edition I think. I have so much I want to read about but, as she recommends, I'm going to pick one thing and do it well before I move on to other homesteading things. This year it will be the garden.
Thanks for stopping by. I love your site. The graphics are adorable. And yes....you need to take it a little easier if your body is feeling it. I don't know when the little one is due but listen to your body and give it extra care if it's yelling for it.
God Bless your coming deliver. Very interesting history on Jewish holidays. I'm always fascinated with the history and culture and wisdom of the Hebrew religion. I just got a book called "THe Blessing of a Skinned Knee" by Wendy Mogel, Ph.D Using jewish teachings to raise self-reliant children. I'm looking forward to reading it as well. Problem is, when I get a book order it's hard to settle on what I'll be reading first. *wink wink*
Stay warm and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Blessings
