UGH our stupid dog was whining and howling all night. We checked on him several times and couldn't find the problem, couldn't see anything out there that would get him started either. He's still at it this morning, I think today it's because the neighbors goats are out here he can see them, if it weren't so cold out I'd hose him down! He's a Husky, so he really doesn't bark much (only time I really heard him bark is when a bear wandered through the property). What he does do is so much more annoying than barking.. he "talks" and whines like he's being tortured.. if you didn't see it was a Husky, and know they do that, you would think we were hurting our dog. I'm sure the neighbors who can't see us are wondering. He's really strong and has broken his heavy cable several times in the past. Husky's love to escape and are very hard to find when they do. I'm more worried about him escaping here at our new house, because it's prairie land and he looks like a wolf, I'm sure he'll be shot if he's on someone's land.
