• 2006-Aug-31 - hummybirds!

We are really enjoying our lil hummyfriends. They're kinda territorial about their 'branch' out there! Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a homemade hummingbird feeder? We're trying so hard to not spend what we don't "HAVE" to, but we'd really like to have some more feeders. Thanks for any suggestions...

We haven't made these - but we have used glass bottles with cork spouts that we found on old olive oil bottles. We hung them upside down with wire we wrapped around them. We love watching hummingbirds. We have one small feeder between 2 windows in our breakfast room. We sit forever watching them come & go. Blessings.

Ohhh goody, someone left a link to a site to make the feeders, I too wanted to have a hummingbird feeder but can't spend the money on one. I will visit the site.
If you make/made one can you post a pic of how it turned out?
