A Wonderful Refreshing Day!
 Well we've had a wonderful day relaxing and spending special time together as family and spending time fellowshipping with our Church family!It's just incredible after having a hectic, stressful and frustrating week to walk into the House of the Lord and be refreshed! It seems that whenever I feel simply overwhelmed and full of anxiety and at the end of my sanity rope...I can simply walk in the door of Church and see our Church family and automatically feel calm and peaceful. The sermon was just exactly what I needed to hear and by the time we walked out of Church I was completely refreshed and ready for the week ahead...no matter what stresses or tensions are thrown at me! I sometimes simply need that reminder that I am not in control, God is in control and He already knows how things will work, I just have to keep my eyes on Him and daily soak up His Word, then life will make more sense. This, of course doesn't mean I won't have problems, hurts and sadness...it means that He will always carry me through these times and be my Ever Present Comfort! What a wonderfully awesome promise... |
