A Work in Progress

The little man of the house

Here's Mr. Bubbers himself, all cute in his little warm snow suit outfit. This is right before DH and I took him out for a stroll with his colorful pal Henry the Horse in tow. He looks as though he and the cat got into a brawl, but in actuality those scratches are from his own finger nails - he can get pretty intense even if he does have trimmed nails.

Hello all. It is sunny and bright - a beautiful day here. Mr. Bubbers is currently napping so I thought I'd take this opportunity to blog a bit.

So I acquired the book "Eat Fat, Lose Fat" by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig. It goes along with Nourishing Traditions concepts, but focuses on coconut oil and coconut products as a way to lose weight - which I need to do still 3 months after giving birth. Oy. It is a struggle. Well they say you should take up to 6 T./day of coconut oil - before meals to suppress your appetite. Well I am up to about 3/day and it's not so bad. I am also eating along the guid of their diet and it seems to not be too much of a struggle. Although finding the time to sit down and prepare and eat a whole meal, even if it is just eggs, toast, sausage and a grapefruit is proving difficult with a three month old. I must make it a priority, though.

I just ordered 1 gallon of coconut oil online. Along with that I ordered some pure aloe vera gel, elderberry extract and echinacea extract as I am working on supplying us with natural sickness remedies.

I have much more to post later, recipes and all, but Mr. Bubber s now needs feeding and a change. Happy Blogging for now!
