A Work in Progress

Not much sleep

{ 04:49, Sunday, October 1, 2006 } { 10 comments } { Link }
We're not getting a whole lot of sleep around here, so for me to post a lengthy post would be both nearly impossible and possibly disasterous. I will post this picture, though, of our new lil bumpkin. He doesn't always look like this. He spends a lot of time screaming. I'm not sure if a schedule will ever appear, as he is sleeping during the day and feeding all night practically. I'm not even sure when a schedule would normally appear. I can't believe they just leave you with this baby when you are like us and haven't got a clue. They should come with some sort of manual and possibly a mute button for those times when you're just too tired. He is a joy, though. A beautiful joy. What a gift.

Would love to come hold him while you get some much needed rest! :)
The schedule will come...just remember the mantra, sleep when the baby sleeps...always. No matter what else needs tending to..it will still be there later, after you sleep.
Congratulations!!!

Blessings,
Laurie

Things will work out and turn around. Just enjoy him. He is beautiful. My dd was up every two hours the first 4 months. She was like clock work. It will get better. I promise!

Thank you so much for sharing!!! You are richly blessed! His blanket looks just like one my sister in law made for one of my boys years ago. Have a wonderful day with your family!
