Birth Announcement

Our son has arrived. Little bumpkin was born Wednesday, September 20th at 8:41 a.m. after 13 hours of active labor and just under an hour of pushing. Praise the Lord for such a miracle. The homebirth was amazing, more than I could have asked for. I am recovering and little bumpkin is nursing away. Will post pictures when I get a chance. Praise God!

Congratulations, Shannon! I\'ve been checking several times a day to see if there was any news...glad you had an uncomplicated birth and that baby is nursing...do you have a name?

Congratulations on the birth. A home delivery, that must have been very wonderful. I think you and all the women who have done that are very brave. I worry too much, about everything, lol.

YEAH!!!! I'll bet the homebirth was great - I think I would like htat, but.... it would mean actually keeping my house clean! lol
