Farmer's Market

Well today was farmer's market day here in the big city. I really,
really enjoy seeing all of these farmers sell their goods. There were
about 5 certified organic booths, which is great, but I would have
liked to have seen more. I came home with sweet corn, tomatoes, green
beans, onions, a melon and a green pepper for my dh. I am not a fan of
raw peppers. This evening I will make a cous cous, veggie and bean
salad for dinner containing lots of those good veggies. My bread baking turned out very well yesterday. I ended up experimenting with one of my loaves of whole wheat by rolling it out and spreading it with butter, sucanat and cinnamon and rolling it back up and baking it. Well I didn't roll it tight enough cuz there was a big air pocket in the loaf, but it was certifiably delicious :).
Nothing new on the baby front, and I can't say that I am surprised. Nor am I disappointed anymore. I think I was hoping to have this baby soon and when our midwife told us on Monday it could be a few more weeks I was disappointed. Well I'm over it now and I think it'll be good from the standpoint of it will give us more time together before our little babe gets here.
What I need to do this afternoon still:
*Already took a nap so check that one off the list :)
*Go get the mail
*Go to the park for a walk
*Clean up a bit. I've been having days of crazy frantic nesting and days of complete who cares.
*Make dinner.
*Finish up the laundry
*Maybe play around more with my blog and see if I can change a couple of things.
