Going Bananas!

Just had to add this to my "lines". The first line makes me laugh out loud every time I read it.

We should all aspire to live like bananas. They are on permanent vacation, living in lush, tropical rainforests. From high above, a canopy of trees provides the perfect balance of sun and shade.

Valentine's Day

We stayed home and enjoyed our daughter on Valentine's Day. I also grilled steak & shrimp. It was very nice. I am thankful we can pile up and just be together without hussle and bussle.

Just as a flashlight draws power from its batteries,
we draw power from the Son of God.
As light, we dissipate fear, bring relief and lift spirits.
We don't even have to be big to be effective.
We just have to be "on".
Today, let's pursue that which is good,
right and truthful by shining through darkened circumstances.
Don't keep the switch off
or hold back as though our batteries have run down.
