Just to share

I've decided to go ahead and share that this new year began for us with the sadness of miscarrying for the fourth time.  I was 10 weeks along, and apparently being 38 and already somewhat anemic caused it to be quite a drain physically.  Last week was pretty up and down with physical and emotional energy levels.  Now this week I'm starting to feel back to my old self -- while making sure to keep on the iron and B-12.

Emotionally, well, of course it was sad, very, and I've mourned and may continue to have sad moments.  But I have to say, blessed be the Name of the Lord.  He is perfect and all His ways are just and good.  May He be glorified in my weaknesses and well as my strengths.  May He be glorified by the blessing of the children He's given us as well as by those He hasn't.  The first miscarriage I blamed and accused and yelled at God, rebuking Him for not giving life to my baby.  That was a terrible place to be; a terrible, lonely, miserable place to be.  A couple years of this kind of tantruming over everything that didn't go how I thought it should, and I learned.  I learned He's God and I'm not, and I wouldn't want it any other way.  I learned that He's caring for us perfectly even (maybe, especially) when it all seems imperfect.  I learned that my knee will bow to my King whether I understand His ways or not.  He's my King; I can and will do no less.

I am so sorry about your miscarriage. It's something our family has gone through as well. Your faith and attitude about it is an encouragement and blessing to us all. God bless you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers.

~Peace,
Alie

I share in your sadness, but rejoice with you that God is still in control. You are right, we don't understand His ways, but He is still worthy of praise.
I also had a miscarriage at 38. I was 11 weeks along. Two months later, I unexpectedly got pregnant with my little Noah. He is now 28 months old and very healthy. So I too learned not to question God's devine plan for my life. My prayers are with you. God bless you and your family!

I am so sorry to hear about this. Thankful God is there for you. How do people without God make it through times in their lives like this is what I always think!!! God will see you through!

God's Blessings,
Amy Jo

We are not called to get love,
but to give unstintingly and joyously,
life-giving agape love to those the Lord has surrounded us with.

Yay! I'm a daisy, my favorite flower!!

I am a
Daisy

What Flower
Are You?

Just as a flashlight draws power from its batteries,
we draw power from the Son of God.
As light, we dissipate fear, bring relief and lift spirits.
We don't even have to be big to be effective.
We just have to be "on".
Today, let's pursue that which is good,
right and truthful by shining through darkened circumstances.
Don't keep the switch off
or hold back as though our batteries have run down.
Our source is the glorious

"Light Invisible."

Being switched on pleases the Lord.
Stay on.
Stay bright.
