Poodwaddle.com (my little brother!) Update on WeekendI really don't have time for this, but want to give a quick update to those concerned and/or wondering. My husband's appointment yesterday went well. They found and biopsied a small polyp and inflamed area, but we have no real results/report yet. Basically all is the same at this point other than the examining doctor was not tremendously concerned by what he saw. We just wait now. But husband is very encouraging to my faith right now by his confident reliance on God regardless of the outcome. God has, I think, really solidified in him a need to trust, to seek His Kingdom and glory, and not try to control God or his circumstances to his own ends. I thank God for His work in us and for His glory! Also, the anniversary party/weekend went very well. We were absolutely exhausted by the end, but it was all we could have hoped. So many family members came that it felt like a family reunion as well as anniversary party. We had well over a hundred guests go thru in 4 hours, and in spite of the cloudy, cool, rainy day, inside their garage was bright, warm, and LOUD! { Post a Comment } { Last Page } { Page 94 of 171 } { Next Page } |

Just as a flashlight draws power from its batteries, we draw power from the Son of God. As light, we dissipate fear, bring relief and lift spirits. We don't even have to be big to be effective. We just have to be "on". Today, let's pursue that which is good, right and truthful by shining through darkened circumstances. Don't keep the switch off or hold back as though our batteries have run down. Our source is the glorious "Light Invisible."Being switched on pleases the Lord. Stay on. Stay bright. --Luci Swindoll LinksNo Greater Joy MACHE HSLDA CategoriesIn ContemplationIn the Garden In the Kitchen In the Lines In the News In the Office In the Schoolroom Nowhere Particular Recent EntriesThanksgivingDarkness & Light Bright Lights Building an Orchard - Before Chokecherries & Robin's nest Pray for NE Iowa Grumpiness FriendsFaithfulAcresquiverfull wannabeone KimMC HandsNHearts borderling Boltbabe sweetie Brownsmichelle shekinah Jonash2004 CandyFoote mc2rwe 4byGodsgrace pringlemom mulberrylane ahall003 Sara DakotaSoaplady rashel lindseyinal solodeogloria Southernangel akhansonschulze07 hdressel |
