Amanda Siemens has birthed a new baby girl, at home(!) and already has pictures posted!! WOW! and what a cute little bundle, too.  Congratulations to her and family!

Finally downloaded picts from the camera; so here's my main garden back before it was harvested and then brutally murdered by frost.

And here's my family with our first pumpkin harvest ever (this was our first year to have this big garden).

Now, I'm ready for tons of snow.  Enough already of the El Nino thing!  I want an old-fashioned Minnesota winter where the snow is up to your windows, and you just cozy in.

That pumpkin photo is wonderful! I can close my eyes and put myself in your yard...petting Beast...watching Lili push Lillian on the swing with the boys in the playhouse....Ahhhh. I just wish you were in the photo along with the rest of your beautiful family!

Wow!!!

Those pumpkins are almost as gorgeous as your family. What a beautiful garden. I wish it would snow here in Arkansas like it did in Idaho...sigh

About Me

Whoso loves believes the impossible.
--Elizabeth Barrett Browning

We are not called to get love,
but to give unstintingly and joyously,
life-giving agape love to those the Lord has surrounded us with.

Yay! I'm a daisy, my favorite flower!!

I am a
Daisy

What Flower
Are You?

Just as a flashlight draws power from its batteries,
we draw power from the Son of God.
As light, we dissipate fear, bring relief and lift spirits.
We don't even have to be big to be effective.
We just have to be "on".
Today, let's pursue that which is good,
right and truthful by shining through darkened circumstances.
Don't keep the switch off
or hold back as though our batteries have run down.
Our source is the glorious

"Light Invisible."

Being switched on pleases the Lord.
Stay on.
Stay bright.
