Building Our Chicken Coop - VIDEO

This is a short video of us building our chicken coop. The coop is 8 X 8 X 8 with a simple 15 x 8 x 4 chicken run. It was rather easy to build and only took 3 days to complete. This is an easy weekend project.

Thanks for the info about bumblefoot. I *think* that's probably what it was, but 4 of our hens wound up with it so that makes me wonder.... Ugh. The learning curve is so steep sometimes.

What a great video! My husband and I have just started reading up and planning for our brood. Would love some more details for the chicken coop (dimensions, cost, etc.). Thank you for sharing with the rest of us. BTW, is this the first time you have had chickens? Do you have any advice for those of us starting out?
