Two Piggys Went To Market

Yep, this morning Brandon and Tristen took the pigs to the butcher. We should have waited one more month, but we were not sure about Brandon's schedule. So, we had to do it today. I am dreaming about ham for Christmas dinner, sasuage, pork chops, pork loins...we can hardly wait. Plus, this will help on the grocery bill. One of the advantages of having land and animals. Brandon is finally back on the board at work. He had to bump someone which makes us feel bad, but he had no choice. He has not worked in about a month now, and we really need the money! Hopefully the person he bumped will be able to work on one of the other boards or at least work out of Denver. That is one thing that I really don't like about the railroad...people get bumped and then have to find somewhere else to work. Brandon should go to work in the next few days. Please keep the person he had to bump in your prayers and us as well...we really need Brandon to make a few Denver trips. God Bless and have a great day. |
