New Family Members

well, the four legged, hairy kind that is. Brandon went to a horse sell and Taylor and Tristen each bought a horse. They are ranch horses, which means they have been used for branding, cutting, roping, etc. I know that Tristen's horse has pretty much done it all. I am not sure about Taylor's horse. They are both beautiful and make a nice addition to the homestead. We also bought 6 calves. They are holstein/angus mixed. They are so darn cute! We are going to keep one for ourselves to butcher, and some friends have bought the rest. They will get to stay here until it is time to go and have them made into steaks. Poor little things. At least they will have a good life while they are here. Other than that, there really isn't too much going on. I took a few pics to share though. This is Taylor's horse. Her name is Alita Ease  This is Tristen's horse...her name is Star.  Here is a picture of some of the steers.  Have a great day and may God Bless you all! |
