A few pics

Well, my brother Doug and his girlfriend, Sarah, came for a visit! It was wonderful to have them here at the homestead. Doug rode Jane around in the pen for a little while. Jane didn't try to buck him off or anything...which is a good thing! Brandon and I went to Cripple Creek with Doug and Sarah, while the kids visited with friends. Did we win big you ask? No, but we had a great time! It was nice to go out with the two of them. We had alot of fun. Are we addicted no, but I did really like the machines that the quarters came out of! Now, that was fun! We also took them to Pikes Peak. The kids really enjoyed going up there. Now it wasn't scary until the driver, Brandon, started to make comments. LOL He just had to try to scare all of us. All I have to say is that we all made it up and down safe and sound! Here are a few pictures while Doug and Sarah were out here. This one is of Brandon and I in Cripple Creek.  This is Doug and Sarah also in Cripple Creek. I think they are a beautiful couple!  Here is one of all of us with Doug...it is a bit hard to see. This is at the top of Pikes Peak.  Here is Doug and Jane in the round pen. I think Jane liked Doug.  This is Tristen...falling onto the train tracks on top of Pikes Peak. LOL  Finally, some male Big Horn Sheep. We passed them going down Pikes Peak. They were beautiful.  As you can see Pikes Peak was beautiful. It was chilly...I believe in the 40's by the time we made it up to the top. We warmed up by drinking some hot chocolate before we drove back down. It even rained a little bit, but it was worth getting wet. |
