More Rain

Brandon's aunt, uncle, and cousin stopped by for a short visit, and well I think they brought some rain with them. We were so happy that it was raining because we needed it. They all looked great and happy. That is always a good thing! Our pumpkins are still growing, and the kids are talking about pumpkin pie, muffins, and bread. I hope they are ready before it freezes...we did plant late after all. Brandon is on his way to Amarillo, so we won't see him until Saturday. Then I believe on Sunday we are going to go and see his cousin show her horse. She does jumping, but I believe she said that it was the hunting jumping. It sounds like a lot of fun, and the kids will have a great time. Seeing family sure does make it hard on me. It just makes me want to go back to Texas so much more. I love it here, our house, our land, friends, but it would be so nice to be by family. We feel that the kids are missing out on so much, but at least we all have each other. I can't even begin to imagine not having the children or each other. We are truly blessed. Thank you God. |
