Here is a picture of the wood that the "wood guy"(that is what the kids call him) dropped off for us.  We bought 3 cords of hardwood mixed.  I think we will be warm this coming winter!



So,  all of it is put away in the barn.  The kids and Brandon worked on it for 2 days!  They did a wonderful job stacking it.  It looks so nice and neat. 

Here is a picture of the pigs.  They are so cute.  We still don't know if we are going to breed them or eat them.  LOL

I ran across this at another bloggers site.  It is very good and just goes to show you that what you are told on the news isn't the truth!  Boy I am so shocked at that comment...I am being sarcastic of course. 
We are going to get some rain or possibly snow later on today/tonight.  It was so nice yesterday...in the 70's, and now this!  LOL

Yep, when the neighbor came to dig a hole for Lilac well the kids saw it as a chance to go for a ride!



Talk about a ton of fun!  Where else but out on a homestead could your babies do this?
