Once again, I'm trying to guess when we will have kids again. Jackie was looking pretty odd today when I was in the barn. She's pretty big. I'm hoping for triplets! She seems very uncomfortable, poor girl. I hope these little ones arrive in the next couple days.
I also found the black cat. He (yep, its a boy) was in the garage along with thegirl kitty. For now, we are calling them Onyx and Opal. That will probably change several times. I'm just glad they are still on the farm and apparently earning their keep. I found a dead mouse on a hay bale!
Today was quite nice out... I think it hit about 50! LOL Rich finally got all the goats and sheep out into the pasture. Wilbert, the pig and the llamas refuse to leave the barnyard. I guess the llamas will have to wait until we get the halters for them and then it will be easier to handle them and bring them through the gate. They sure are smart. They know a wire was there and aren't about to test the theory of it no longer existing. They walk over and scan the post as if looking for the wire. Then turn around and head for the barn.
My broilers are escaping their enclosure so off to the brown coop they go tomorrow! They should enjoy the extra room. Now that they are over 2 weeks old, I don't have to fuss over them so much. I'll keep the turkeys where they are as they are a new critter for me and I need to fuss over them or at least get comfortable with raising them. I do believe my bantams are arriving later this week so they can go in with the turkeys.
Well, I'm off to care for the bunnies. I'll see if we have any new babies yet.
Goodnight!
