From Town to Country: A Wife's Tale

Rich got the chicken coop conversion done today.  I really wanted to move the chicks into it today but it was suppertime when he got it completed so the chicks will have to wait until to tomorrow to check out their new home.  Plus it will give me time to get some pics of it before the chicks "break" it in, lol.  It will need a coat of white paint on the exterior once the weather warms up which Rich informed me today is never going to happen!  lol  He is really tired of the cool/cold weather.

Hillary had her last dose of ATB today and is doing fine.  Rich is a bit concerned that she might be drying up and the kids aren't getting what they need.  I was not out there today so I can't comment on that but I am hoping she is just slow in getting her milk.  The kids don't seem hungry and appear to be acting like normal kids so I think they are ok.

About Me

We've been working on the family farm for 3 years trying to get it back to a working farm. The farm was neglected for 15+ years before we took it on. The summer of 2008 is our family's first experience living in the country, so began our journey from town to country...
