Thanks for the advice again Marilyn. I really appreciate it. I'll post how she is doing here when I get a chance. I haven't seen her yet this am. This is what I saw last night: She has a cough and green discharge from her nose. She is eating and does allow the babies to nurse but I'm concerned they are not getting enough milk. She shows some interest in the kids but not as much as our other does did. Her udder is very warm.. almost hot and she looks like she's just not feeling right.
I gave Priscilla, the little doe (black and white one) 2 ounces of supplement yesterday just to make sure she got something in her tummy. I saw her later trying to get a bit from mom again. The buck, Elvis, had no interest in the bottle and is definitely the stronger of the 2. Rich gave the babies a bottle this am. he said they seemed very hungry.
More updates later.

10 pm: I promised an update and here it is. The kids took another bottle from Madison and I. They are still attempting to nurse and mama does have milk although she hasn't "bagged up" yet.
Besides a very warm udder, no other signs of mastitis (sp?). She seems to have more energy today which I assume is a good thing. No runny nose or green mucus today. Still has a cough but its better, lungs are clear but she's no more as much air as she should be. Temp was 103.2 which is pretty close to normal so I'm hoping she is over the worst of this.
I only got a couple pics of the kids and they aren't so great so I'll try again tomorrow. They were sleeping everytime I was in the barn with the camera.
I did get some pics of the truck box Rich is coverting into a chicken coup for me. Well, its not for me, it's for my chickens, lol. We are big on reusing items and the farm is full of "treasures" if you can look past the "junk." He was able to replace the rusted out doors on the back with some sliding from an old barn that was falling down. He also found an old window and put that in back to add some daylight. So the only cost to fix the box is to floor! AWESOME! I love it when we can reuse something. I'm hoping to move the chickens to the box this coming week.
Here he is framing in the window:

And here's the back almost done (camera battery went dead before he got done ).

Ok, I'm off to bed. We have a 2 hour trip tomorrow to look at highlander cattle and possibly a horse (not so sure about the horse but we are going to look anyway, lol).

I am happy to help if I can. Yes, make sure the babies are getting enough, you can tell that by feeling their tummy and it will feel full. Also check the temp of their mouth, if they are not eating it will feel cold and you have to warm them immeditately!!!
I sent you a private message also.
