This afternoon the gal I've been talking with came and bought the 20 roosters. They toured our little place and asked about one of our silkie roosters, so we sold one of them as well. They are also interested in our pot belly piglets once they available. She also mentioned that she could use up to 100 chickens a month so I'm going to see if I can fill that need but not until our chickens start laying regularly again which probably won't be until late February.
This evening was spent getting rabbit hutches ready for the cold winter blast that is coming tomorrow and lasting until Friday. Our bunnies just love straw, they get so excited. There was lots of noise from them tonight with all the digging and rearranging to make nests. It's fun to watch them work.
Rich also has brought up extra hay for the cattle, goats and sheep, just in case he can't get a tractor started and we need hay. Everyone also got new straw bedding and will get more tomorrow before the cold hits.
Here's a picture of the new bunny, I'm calling him Bugsy for now.

GoodNight!
