Once again I was in the garden, picking and pulling. I figure if I do a bit every day I'll be done by spring...LOL Now, maybe a week or so. I brought in some more tomatoes and a couple peppers.
We also processed 10 chickens this afternoon. So I figure we are down to about 35 chickens left to go. Oh, I can't wait to be done.
Austin ground the my apples into applesauce this afternoon so I will can them tomorrow. My crabapple juice seems a bit weak so I think I will use that juice to cook down my apples to make apple juice tomorrow and see how that tastes.
We went over to Mike and Karen's tonight to deliver their chickens and to pick up some milk this evening. I brought over some apples as well. Karen had made some yogurt and gave me some to try. It sure doesn't smell like the store bought kind. Madison is our yogurt eater in the family so we'll if she will eat it.
When Madsion headed for bed tonight, she heard chirping in the incubator. It appears she has 3 eggs pipping. So we should have chicks tomorrow. Its always exciting to see new life.
