I canned my apple butter.  That was just an easy recipe.  I also canned the applesauce I made.  Oh but we still have tons of apples to go.

I took the turner out of the incubator.  We are concerned that the eggs may have cooked.  Yesterday Madison discovered the temp was 120F!  UGH!  It was pretty hot in there.  I told her we will wait and see.  They should hatch on Sunday.  I did candle a few of the eggs and there are chicks in there I just don't know if they are alive or not.

I started pulling some plants from the garden, a few tomatoes and a pepper plant after picking what was good on them.  the turkeys refuse to stay out of the garden so I thought it best to start picking even if its not totally ripe before they destroy it all.  We have been covering the garden at night due to frost warning but we have been lucky so far.. no frost.

We also composted the raspberry plants.  I hope they are able to recover enough before we have a hard freeze and they dormient.  The ones with fruit don't look as good as the ones without fruit.  Oh well, we shall see.
