This is from my journal at the farm. Its probably a late entry. I may make several entries a day to try to keep up with the backlog of entries I have.

It appears that Opal is expecting.  Madison is very excited about the thought of kittens at the farm.  We've been watching and questioning the growth of her tummy for a couple weeks now.  She's such a tiny cat,  I would guess maybe 3 kittens at the most.

I served rabbit for the first time to our family.  I've heard many ppl say it tastes like chicken.  Well, it doesn't taste exactly like chicken but its fairly close.  Everyone enjoyed it, even Madison who wasn't really happy about eating a "bunny", tried it and liked it.  So I'm going to look into purchasing a meat rabbit.   A family purchased a mini lop from us for 4H and they mentioned that they have new zealands so I'm hoping she will contact me when they have bunnies for sale.

Well I'm off to search for rabbit recipes!!
