This is from my journal at the farm. Its probably a late entry. I may make several entries a day to try to keep up with the backlog of entries I have.
Oh man, I'm beginning to wonder if this day will end! Its been just one of those days when you take 2 steps forward and one step back!
First, Chas was up early, say 5:30 am, so my day started then. Everything was going ok until the afternoon when I was headed to town to run errands and discovered I forgot the digital card with the pictures we needed printed for Madison's fair projects so I turned around and go back to get the card.
A quick trip through Walmart where I was going to print those pictures only to discover I forgot to transfer the file onto the digital card so no pictures for us. Jeepers!
After JCPenney's, I came out to my car only to discover that the shift handle which was giving me so much trouble finally had had enough and broke. GREAT! I call Rich only to get his voice mail.. hmmm, what to do. Cry is always a good option, LOL but I didn't. Madison and I headed to WalMart on foot as Austin works there and he has a "working" car! On my way there, Rich called back and I pretty much knew what he was going to say... "Call your brother". Which is the next thing I did. A few short minutes later with Dean's advice and keys to Austin's car, we were moving again. We completed our errands and headed home.
So back at home, I realize that I can't make copies of the papers we need for the fair because I left the new ink cartiage in the car at JCPenney's! UGH! So I rattled around with the printer long enough to make some very light copies of the needed fair paperwork.
We had to go back to town and get Austin so I knew IF I could remember to put the picture file on the card and bring it with, I could at least get my pictures printed when we went back.
At 4:45 pm we headed back to town to get Austin and retrive my car. That all went just fine and yes, I did get the pictures we needed, finally! After we returned home, I relaized I forgot to add a few items to the fair lists that I mailed minutes earleir so I had to send another list, oh well.
The rest of the night was fairly uneventful which I was grateful for. I tell you, I'm glad today is over!
Goodnight!
