Dreaming of Simplicity

It is HOT! Steamy hot. I have noticed however that it does not seem as hot here as it did when we lived in the city. Maybe there is something to that whole thing about city heating. I have lots to do but the heat is not making me feel like doing it.

 On Friday morning the two year old is leaving us to stay with a family member. I did not think I would miss her as much as I think I am going to. I had a hard time sleeping last night thinking and worrying about her. I will be doing a lot of praying for her and her family. Today I must start packing her things. That will be hard. I also want to get the house in order again. Having an extra little one in the house has thrown me off my game. I would like to get the messes under control before another child comes our way.

 I am also preparing for a renaissance festival I am in. We have rehearsals everynight next week. I am skipping the ones we have this week because I want to spend time with sweet pea before she goes.

It is warm here also.
You should definitely allow your child to be with a family member, that you trust, for a day or two. It will give you and your husband time together.
