...while I'm gone this weekend. 

I'm off to St. Louis for their homeschool convention.  Here's the REALLY exciting part:  after ALL these years of speaking, my dh, Ty, has NEVER been able to travel with me anywhere out of state!  (If I go over 100 miles I always take someone with me...safetly, ya know!)  I'm SO excited!  He's never been to St. Louis either...not that I'm a pro there...the last time I was there I was 10 !  lol  And that was ... er... uh... a LONG time ago! 

I dearly love going to different places to speak.  I think it's a blast to meet and encourage other homeschoolers to keep on keepin' on and to see what the trends are in different areas of the country.  And, of course, to know that in many ways we're all the same after all.

Have a safe trip! I didnt know you spoke at homeschool conventions, ours is this weekend too, but not the one you are speaking at. :( How funny would that be. :) Let us know how it goes....I am going to google you and see what comes up! :)

It sounds wonderful! My husband was born there, but raised in Buffalo, NY. He still has family there though.
