Put a new picture up!
OK...I'm trying a new picture! I had our wedding picture from '84 up...my dh asked me why I had that one up, "We don't really look like that anymore." To which I replied, "But, Baby, that's the way I see you. You'll ALWAYS be my groom!"
But...I thought I'd modernize it a little a put up a picture of me playing my hammered dulcimer...one of my favorite things to do! As mentioned in a previous post, Rich Mullins was my inspiration. I've always liked Celtic music and instruments (I also play flute and penny whistle), but I had never thought about adding a hammered dulcimer to praise music until I first heard Rich back in the '80s. Boy, was I excited!!
He is buried about 20 minutes from our home. Many of our out-of-town guests like to go up there. It's very simple...just a nice black stone beside his father and a baby brother. Nothing that says, "somone famous is resting here." It's a very sweet, simple, peaceful country cemetary.
Anyway, other than playing on our church's praise and worship team, I'll be playing at another wedding in June. That's always fun.
Blessings from Ohio, Kim Wolf<><

Love the picture. I just saw Caedman's Call in concert a couple of weeks ago and one of their guys really 'rocks' on the dulcimer. I love the sound. I also love the penny whistle- wish I could play it. Rich Mullins was an amazing man and musician who's career was way too short.
