Golden Angels Homeschool Volleyball News!!
As so many of you know, our local homeschool volleyball team ~ the Golden Angels ~ have had an incredible year!
The Jr. Varsity team, with so many newbies, had a great year of growing and developing their skills. They REALLY came together as a "TEAM" early in the season when they participated in the Ft. Wayne Invitational in Indiana. From there, they developed great playing skills and team work and thrilled their audiences with MANY close-call games! They also participated in the Milford Christian Academy Invitational (Cinci) and the Urbana Homeschool Volleyball Tournament. At the Urbana Homeschool Volleyball Tournament they won the award for Best Team Players and Hannah Carter won for Best Team Player!!
The Varsity team had a fantastic year! They just completed their 3rd UNDEFEATED year of regular season play!! As I type this, they are in Omaha, NB for the 2007 NCHAA National Homeschool Volleyball Tournament, participating as the ONLY OHIO TEAM! ~ Out of 40 teams! ~ Please keep them in your prayers for safety and for a fun, memorable trip. (They will return late Sunday, Nov. 4th.) This tournament will be the 3rd that they have participated in, including: the Ft. Wayne Invitational (IN) and the Milford Christian Invitational (Cinci)...and...THEY WON the Milford tournament!! Also taking an award was Ruth Sprinkle for Most Outstanding Player!!
