God's Wonderful Sense of Humor!!

1 Cor. 1:27-31 - "But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.  He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things -- and the things that are not -- to nulify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him.  It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, Who has become for us wisdom from God -- that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.  Therefore, as it is written:  "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

{This blog is not usually political, but sometimes a topic just has to be discussed or I will explode.  My apologies to any offended.}

Oh, how I just LOVE the sense of humor of God!  Don't you?  I mean, look at how the socialists masquerading themselves as liberals are trying SO hard to convince everyone that we are destroying the earth by contributing to "global warming."  Seems that none of them have ever heard of a cycle of any sort, much less read any of THEIR OWN writings over the last 50 years.  My goodness, 30 years ago these SAME people were wringing their hands over the new ice age that was coming!  "Help!  We need to find a way to put up sun reflecters at the North Pole to melt the ice caps before the northern 1/3 of the USA is covered in ice and snow...FOREVEEEEER!!!"    And, since the sun is the major cause of what happens to our ozone and global warming - what will these people propose we do about THAT?

And, by the way, it will take LOTS AND LOTS of YOUR $money$ to remedy it!  

The newest scam - on top of the scam about how serious globel warming is - is "carbon foot printing" and "buying carbon off-sets."  PA-LEASE!!  Granted, we ARE responsible to take care of this earth - but the earth worship of the lost is quickly merging with political correctness and digging deeper and deeper into our pockets, public education, politics and our freedoms.   Have you ever noticed that the hoity-toity people who can AFFORD to buy those pretend carbon off-sets aren't doing a thing to change their OWN lives?  But WE had better or they will look down their noses at our supposed ignorance.  What a rip-off, what a lie this carbon off-sets fraud idea is.  But, people are falling for it - P. T. Barnun was right, "There's a fool born every minute." 

2 Cor. 3:14 - "But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains..."

And just who co-owns the biggest carbon off-set purchasing companies that he's pushing?  Why...Al Gore, of course.  Mr. Do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do.  Are you aware that in many public schools, they are showing Gore's trype of a "documentary" and DEMANDING that PARENTS come to see it OR ELSE their children's grades will suffer?!  Will there be any sort of discussion afterward?  What will happen if parents with brains question the falsehoods told in the movie?    Gal. 6:1-3 - "Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin you who are spiritual should restore him gently.  But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.  Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.  If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he decieves hmself." ......BUT......Gal. 5:8-10 - "That kind of persuasion does not come from the One who calls you.  'A little yeast works through the while batch of dough'...The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be." 

These are just more reasons for us to homeschool our children.  Do these people even watch the weather on the evening news?  Do they not think that people will notice the record high's and record low's posted on their TV screens every night?  When there are winter days in the 1800s recored as being the 80s, where did that come from?  Oh, that's right: cows! 

With the Lord's guidance, it is up to us to teach TRUTH to our children - the TRUTH about Creation, the TRUTH about science and how the earth goes through CYCLES as does everything, the TRUTH about our history, the TRUTH about the corruption of man and redemption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. 

But, as I said before, I LOVE God's wonderful sense of humor.  He must have a little smile on His face as he watches all of this winter's global warming activities spoil on the vine.  Global warming summits have been canceld twice this winter because of severe winter weather!  HA!!  As I type, I'm sitting here - the 1st week of APRIL - watching beautiful fluffy snowflakes tumble to the ground.  Just Tuesday, it was 80 degrees!  

Oh, yes.  I love God's sense of humor.

Amen! My dad and I were having the same discussion the other day. Amazing how quickly we went from ice age to global warming. What is next- alien invasion????

I loved your post. In fact more Christians need to start taking a stand. We are loosing our rights and freedoms more and more because not enough of us have a back bone to say what is right and expose all this brew-ha-ha.

Sagas of the Icelanders

I was reading this collections of saga's and the forward discusses how, when Leif Erikkson (sp) came to America waaaay back when, the tempreatures are described as very warm on the east coast (I think it was during winter).

Even taking into consideration that it may have been warmer than Iceland, Norway, etc...it is still evidence of a cycle of warming (I've heard it said that it's a 1500 year cycle)...plus, I think when our country was just starting out there was mention of a "mini ice-age."

In the end, I just remind myself that I have a future and a hope and it's not here! LOL I'll do my best to be wise with what God's given me, and trust Him to do the rest.
