Out My Front Door...

Nancy has asked us, on The Front Porch, to tell about what we see out our front doors...here's mine...

I see:
~ My sweet corner porch
~ An old patio chair that used to belong to my folks, but I just can't seem to get rid of - an old, comfy taste of home
~ Our log front porch swing.  My sweet dh got me this for our anniversary a few years ago (can't have log home right now...so we got the log porch swing!
~ My flowers - that need watered.  I want to dig up these old roses (I know, some of you gasp!) and replace them with wild flowers and flowering outdoor herbs
~ Our huge Blue Spruce pine tree
~ The road, calm at the moment, but it is a state route and gets busy during the morning and evening drive-times
~ Our across-the-road-neighbor's huge front yard, where deer come up from the Stillwater River and the woods just behind their home
~ Beautiful, sun-shiny Ohio day.  Lots of lush green trees, butterflies and songbirds

Tonight, after I get the little man to bed, I will describe the scene from my front door. Cool idea. Your description was Ohio was great. I'll have to find one of Montana to copy or make one up. It will have to mention antlers somewhere. Your "homesick for God" entry really touched me. My prayer is for God to affect others through our family in that way. Hope all are doing well at your house!
