food eaten around here in a week, part 7

okay - last installment...Our church requests that on the first sunday of the month, we fast for two meals, giving the money we would have spent to the poor. pregnant or nursing mothers are not supposed to do fast, so the food ratios here are for me and the kids, not my husband until dinner (where he had a grilled cheese sandwich hidden away in his office to avoid the smell of fish. he REALLY REALLY dislikes seafood, but does not want our children to have his "food issues", so I am allowed to make fish for me and the kids as long as I feed him first.) breakfast: 1 c hard white wheat berries, cracked, 2 T honey, 1/4 c butter, 5 pieces of toast lunch: 3 grilled cheese sandwiches, 3 salads, lots of cheese slices for the baby (okay, they were small pieces, but it seemed like she was continually asking for them) dinner: grilled cheese sandwich, 1 lb salmon; 2 T broth, 1 T lemon juice, 2 T cream, 1 cube butter = fish sauce; 2 c peas; leftover rice w/ shredded mexican blend cheese; 4 pieces toast now, I have dutifully recorded that which we ate this week.
