while preparing for bed last night, I was in the bathroom. my 15-mo was not letting me out of her sight, so she was with me. I randomly asked her "do you want to sit on the potty chair?" she got a look in her eyes and started to tug at her onesie, all the while looking at the toilet. so I undid the onesie, pulled off her diaper, and sat her down. the biggest grin on her face. I figured we should do this right, so I gave her toilet paper, put her diaper back on, and flushed the (empty) toilet. then I picked her up and showed her how to wash her hands at the sink. her face said LOUD AND CLEAR "I am such a BIG girl!"reminds me of my son about the same age, eating an ice cream cone at Grandma's. He had almost down to just the cone, when grandma, thinking he would not understand, offered to trade her brand new cone for his. He looked at both cones, and offered his out. well, since she HAD offered, she HAD to trade him. then she asked if he would like to trade again.
