Today I am 25.that doesn't sound sooo old, does it? 2x2x2x2x2.... just a lot of 2's.
Today is a big day. Not only my birthday, I need to do laundry, pack the newly folded clothes, go shopping, finish CLEANING my house and school and not get cranky with the kids. We are headed to my aunt's house in Northern Idaho, an 8 hour drive. Usually my mom comes with us, but this year she is stressing about getting her schooling done so she is ready to student teach in 3 weeks! So it is just me and cute little kiddels. And I am not sure how well little Roo will do driving that long. So we will see. She has a scream on her that is awful to hear, especially trapped in a tiny space like a car. I smell skunk. In my house at my computer desk, I smell skunk nice and clear. Yuck! Although, funny skunk story.... my sister and I attended the same TINY upstate NY women's college for one year. It was after January break, and we were headed back, her from SLC and me from San Francisco (I had an internship). My flight left SF at midnight. Because of weather and other factors, I did not arrive in NYC until about 10pm the next day. My sister was waiting for me with my car (we had left at a cousin's house over break). We decided to drive the 5 hours “home” that night – after both of us in airports all day. It took a lot longer than normal, but we were almost there – about 30 minutes away, and we had the windows down to help keep us awake – the predawn was already upon us, and my sister says “mmmm.... what is that smell – it smells good!” I sniffed and laughed “ You have got to get some sleep – that is SKUNK!” so now the joke is that B likes the smell of skunk.
