okay... I admit I am very inexperienced about building..... here is what I have (free materials):numerous 2x4s in 4 ft lengths - I can get as many of these as I want. I just have to go get them. and some of them are not in the greastest condition, but many are. about 20 2'x3' wood framed windows. can I build a green house? (did I mention the wood frames around the windows are green, and so it truly would be a "green" house hehehehe) I am in no position to level the spot I REALLY want for my green house, and probably will not be for some time (read: years). so should I just wait and do nothing, or should I build something temporary or gather these windows now and sit on them until I am ready? but, where can I store them so as not to break or collect spiders in the meantime? We also get a lot of wind, like I-want-a-few-wind-turbines-here-to-provide-all-our-power wind, so I will need my green house FIRMLY anchored to the ground. okay - let's see if I can do this.... this is where I want it... kind of a cut out of my property, just down from the "yard" (grass, flower beds, house) facing east. south is down the hill (brown line)  this is where/what I want my greenhouse to be:  so the thing would be half in-ground, dug into the side of a hill, and half windows for solar heat. what do you think? should I wait until I can do this? I am thinking I cannot use those windows after all..... how sad. unless - can I use them in my chicken coop? or my goat pen? hmmmm............ new thoughts coming.....
