hey, here is another great homeschooling socialization story. I got it from my homeschool list.

oh, and I hafta share this from the list as well! there was a thread about chickens, and someone added this to the last of her email:
"I am looking for a rooster but would prefer a bantam ...simply because of the neighbors that have built next to my property. The developer told me that the lots next to my land cost more because of "aesthetics" . Nice views of horses grazing, chickens scratching etc. However, that unfortunately does not translate into people enjoying the smell of horse manure or my roosters crowing. Bantams have a softer crow.

Can you believe that someone actually complained about the weeds in my horse field next to their fence? What they really needed was an apartment downtown."

that last bit made me LAUGH AND LAUGH!!!!!
