well, we are feeling better around here, but I seem to be gaining those 4 pounds back

this is sad cuz I have been losing on average 2 pounds a week for the past month or so. I guess it is all fair...

Soap news: I made soap yesterday. it goes much faster in cold weather - by half! I need to make 3 more batches in the next month so I do not hafta do it again until cold weather comes back. I used this recipe like I have every other time, only after I poured half the soap into molds, I folded 1/2 c course oat flour into the rest. then I poured that as well. my molds? this is cool! I used Pringles cans! When I de-molded the soap this morning, I just had to tear the cardboard off, and each can made 8 thick soaps! that was 32 bars! yeah! I love it! now I just need to find a steady source for this useful "garbage!"

Pringle Cans, Great Idea!

We use orange juice containers, the cardboard ones, of course, and then peel it away like you did with the Pringles cans. What a great idea for round soap, though! I like the very small size orange juice containers, less cutting as the size seems just perfect for use... but of course you'll need a bunch of them for a batch of soap. Have a great day! -Chris
