Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
1 ¼  cups flour
½  cup brown sugar
½  cup mini chocolate chips
¼  cup chopped walnuts (optional)
½  Tbs baking powder
¾  tsp pumpkin pie spice
½  cup canned pumpkin
6 T milk
3 Tbs butter, melted
1 egg

Combine pumpkin, milk, butter and eggs in bowl and blend well.  Add dry ingredients and stir just to moisten.  Spoon into prepared muffin pan, filling 2/3 full.  Bake at 400 for 15-17 minutes.  Remove from pan and cool on rack. 

This makes a LOT of muffins.  as I recall the last time I made it, it was 12 regular size muffins and 9 mini... but my reg muffins are on the smaller side, so if you have bigger pans, this might be a perfect size recipe.
