Good afternoon. To start, join me in thanking the Lord for success at work for my beloved husband! He is having success on projects on his first day there! I am so thankful and very VERY excited for him! Now for the promiced pictures...I mentioned them in the previous post. *smile* Two for the price of one even. *smile* I will show you a picture of each treat the kids and I made. Well, unfortunately I made the fudge while they were resting. I tried something new with the fudge and put some wheat germ between the two layers. I thought it would be no big deal after reading that you could use the stuff in baked goods. *smile* My beloved noticed and doesn't care for that texture in his fudge. *smile* I like it fine though. To be honest, I can't even tell except the two halves split on some of the fudge and the wheat germ may be the reason for that. *smile*
These are pretty good and REALLY easy. I got it from a site that has recipies that adults can do in the kitchen with kids. Pretty cool! *smile*
Thist recipie came up when I was checking out the disney page for toddlers, I think. I think they called them "Sleepys Little Bursts of Energy" but I don't remember for sure. *smile* I don't have the paper right here at the computer. *smile* They are good though! And both treats to be made with kids make small batches, which is nice. *smile* I hope you enjoyed seeing what we made in the kitchen over the weekend. Have a great day playing in your kitchen. Remember to pray always. Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings
Tuesday ... Already

Good afternoon. My first thought is, "it's already Tuesday?" Then I remember that I am flying solo for another two days. We ran a few errands this morning as we needed more stamps before we could mail out our valentines. So while we were out we stopped at one of our little towns two grocery stores to pick up a few things. The two stops went pretty well, though the grocery store where they were both walking with me went better than waiting at the post office. *smile* We sent our valentines out while at the post office and had them all weight and size checked while we were there, that takes a while. Forever in a childs mind. *smile* I put both kids up on the counter and let them watch the postal carier (I used to be able to call him the mail man. *smile*) weigh and price them for me. It was nice to get them involved. I did ask the gentleman before setting them both up there with me right there in front of the two of them. *smile* Now is when I am glad I was blessed with two in two pregnancies. *big smile/wink* We did our memory verses today and both kids know them very well. We will go ahead and go to club tonight and try to keep our space. Neither one of them have had a fever and the nose, when it runs, is clear. So, I don't think they are contagious nor have infections. That's just a momma's understanding though. *smile* I didn't do pre-school with them today though we did talk about texture a bit after Sid the Sciance Kid. We are cartoon junkies when they are sick. Since they have been relaxing to cartoons I have been trying to get some home movies from the little expensive DVDs to the larger cheeper ones. That takes time, but I finally got that done. *smile* Now I need to add DVD-RWs to my weekly list. They are so much fun to make and we all enjoy watching them. Another new thing that I have been doing is putting pictures to music and then, with NERO I can put them on a DVD but with Windows I can't. The second program only puts things on CDs which means they must be played on the computer only. That is not the only option I want so I went over to NERO and made a couple for the kids. Just a song for each and then pictures of their birth (I have once they are being loved on and head washing and what not) up to their last birthday. It was fun making, but quite time consuming. And our daughter noticed when I wasn't in the room she was in and came to "get my attention". So, it took even longer. I think it will be fun to know how to do though. Also, I have gotten the coding figured out here but heard that blogger has a way you can password protect your blog/journal so people with or without an account over there can see what you are up to if they have the password. I thought I would check that out. As I kept thinking about it I thought how much I like this spot here and how comfortable I am here. It's nice to have a big comfy chair to relax into, and for me this is my spot. Though I thought maybe we could use that spot over there for making and saleing things. I am still not sure about it and am trying to understand the coding process they use. It's wierd, why doesn't everyone use the same book? Really, it's coding, if it were the same it would be much easier to make your page your own. So, I am learning a new kind of coding, for me. It is similar to that which is used here at homesteadblogger, but has added letters here and there and a whole lot of these things { } and they have a lot of the ... or the * really, what is the deal with the different ways to code? So, it's fun, but definately not a need right this second. *smile* I like my place here and the people I have met here. *smile* Does anyone know about the different ways to earn money with your blog? There is a thing on blogger that gives one the option, but since I don't know much about it and don't want to slip into something bad just because I wonder what they are talking about, that has happened before. I thought I would ask you all here, that I trust. *smile* I haven't seen a "ronchy" site here and so I trust we all want to represent Christ with our blogs thus your help is appriciated in this area. Thanks. *smile* I did get to read two chapters in the book of Psalm today. I think I marked only one verse and was reading with the kids so was a little distracted, but not much. *smile* We made some valentine goodies to share with our Cubbies friends and plan to take them tonight. I will share pictures in my next entry for my picture of the day. You all will like them. *smile* I suppose that is it for now. Thank you for your prayers, my beloved reached his destination safely yesterday and is hard at work today. I look forward to his return! I am not sure who looks forward to it more, him, me, or our two little blessings. *big smile* Have a great day knowing Jesus loves you very much! Make time to talk to Him today; pray always. Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings
And So Our Week Begins

Good morning. Today our son got up around three to use the potty and thankfully went back to sleep. Some of you may be saying, "of corse, don't they go back to bed that earily in the morning?" Not ours, not always. *smile* So, I am very thankful he did. He started getting a sore throught on Saturday and yesterday he was working on getting stuffed up in the nose/sinuses. Poor guy. Our daughter got up at four this morning to use the potty but since she is going 'hosre' had a hard time telling us what she needed in her dazed sleepy state. My beloved husband was trying to ask her if she was okay while I got up out of bed to take her to the potty. I just figure if they get up at an unruly hour that is what they need. I took her to the potty and found out she had a VERY LITTLE woopsie and need a clean pair of undergarments. So, we got her all taken care of and back to bed she went. Thankfully, once again, she did go right back to sleep. Poor little things. She started getting this cold, must have been Friday but didn't konw it. They have all their energy and no fever, thank the Lord! But that means I will probably need to stay home with them all week rather than going on our field trip and to club. I may try asking the leader if we can tell her our verses over the phone as they know these three new ones but I am not wanting to add more on before they get a chance to say these ones. *smile* And right now they are on track to complete their second book this year as well. So, I am hoping they will be allowed to say their verses over the phone this week so we can keep moving in their book. We shall see. *smile* In other "news" I did get my reading done this morning and got some of the main floor areas swept and mopped already this morning. I read four chapters in Psalm 140-143. In chapter 141 I marked some verses that I will share with you. Starting with verses two through four:
And then jump down to verese eight.
I am nowhere near as humble as Paul I am sure nor have I seen the hardships he has, but at times it is as though this is also my prayer to the Lord. Now if you turn over to chapter 143 and look at verse eight you will see another spot where it seems as though Paul is saying what I feel like saying.
Verse ten:
I know I goof up A LOT in my life. We are told, "there is none righteous, no one one" but still I try. I tend to do some things over and over again defending them in my mind and other things I beat myself up about hoping to not repeat them EVER again. In my reading around here at homesteadblogger I know I am not the only gal who does this. That gives me comfort, just knowing I am not alone in TRYING. *smile* I hope you have a great day growing in God. In this moment of your life that your eyes will be opened to His truths and His path for you will seem clear as day. Remember to pray always. Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings

Good morning. Here are a couple of pictures of our very homely finger puppets. *smile* The kids love them!
Our family enjoys the Veggie Tales videos by Big Idea. So I tried to make them similar to those charactors. We have Madam Blueberry, Lary the cucomber, Bob the tomato, Junr asperagus, and then Jimmy and Jerry guard. I have since added Laura the carrot and the grown carrot guy in the "I Want To Dance" one from the opening movie in this one called A Snoodles Tale. *smile* I don't remember his name. *smile* I think I have heard the "sharing" entry more often than the others so far, but when they get Madam Blueberry on their finger they sing her song about being thankful for what we have. It's really cute! I hope you have a great day knowing God made you specieal and that He indeed does love you VERY much. Remember to pray always. Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings
