New Week Begins

Monday.....new week begins for me, feel like Monday is the beginning altho Sundy is truly the start of a new week.

Awesome church services this weekend.  I am blessed to be a part of the best church around.

Lauren & my trip to Mission Outreach was great.  We helped serve food to about 50 people, played games, Lauren sang with the group from church, then we had a devotional time as well.  Most of the residents stayed for the devotional after the meal....I am so thankful they chose to do this.  We were able to pray with three residents....two of them attended our church Sunday morning and they brought two other residents with them. I think the Lord has His hand on this outreach.....can't wait to go back.

Around the house today, we have stripped beds and tidied the house. Laundry isn't overflowing but I may run a few loads today as we will be out of the house several afternoons later in the week.  I have pork simmering in the crockpot.  I am going to add sauer kraut & seasonings to the pork for our dinner, which we will have with chicken & dressing and mac & tomotoes. 

Payday is Wednesday so I will be working on menu plans, grocery lists and bills today & Tuesday.  Hubby has our taxes ready thru Turbo Tax....waiting on one more item before we can file.  We are getting a larger refund than last year.....I am greateful and excited about this.  I hope to pay off a few small bills.....I know this will make Dave Ramsey proud!   

Lauren read our morning scripture and Seth led us in prayer to begin our school day.  Lauren's been digging thru her Bible lately, asking questions and discovering little nuggets of Truth for herself.  I am proud to see her growing in the Lord.

Warmer weather today for us.  Hope the weather is nice where you are.  We are blessed, never forget it.
