The path less Traveled

Thank You

Thank you so much for all the wonderful responses! I feel better knowing there is help and support out there. I got a cook book called, "The Way to cook" By Julia Child. I really like it. I will look into the Ball Blue Book. I really feel like the Lord is teaching me to take baby steps with things. I have set a goal to do 2 new recipies a week, so as not to overwhelm my family. Dh likes routine when it comes to food. New recipies put him into shock! We decided Friday nights would be new dinner night, where the family could criticise the meal and decide if it should stay or go.  Then I try a new "other" recipe. Tea time or snack or bread or breakfast. Again, thanks for the support!

Glad to help! My family doesnt like for me to experiment to much either. I like the idea of having one night set aside for "new recipes"

We tried (well my family did, I used to eat this all the time ) something a bit different last night.....a little sweet n sour chicken and fried rice....mmmmmmm! (I will not share the recipe--because the health food police would be tracking me down--it is baddddddd, but tastes yummmmy! :)

Fun to try something new ;)
