I have learned to knit!
I officially know how to knit!! Of course, I am just a beginner but I am sure enjoying it! My friend's daughter, Kathleen, taught me this afternoon. She had a wonderful way of explaining it. Making it so simple, in fact, it seems as though I could have learned years ago. I am just so thankful to Kathleen and her Mom, Ann, who gave me a few tips as well! It may be a small thing to many people, but this was a desire I've had for so long and it is a thrill to have it fulfilled!!  My future goals are to learn to knit mittens, and felted hats and purses. I know that the mittens may be a while in the future. I have a lot of practicing and learning to do, but I look forward to the experience. |
