January in Maine
I love winter. I love snow. Deep, deep banks of the cold, white, fluffy stuff.

We are having an unusual winter this year. Other than 1 "storm" where we received approximately an inch and half back in mid December, and the "trace" we received exactly one week ago, we have no snow.  Right now as I look out my window, it is foggy and rainy. YUCK! It is also 49 degrees as well. Not exactly the picturesque New England winter scene, you see on greeting cards.

I am dreaming of a white January!

Oh, I'm with you! I'm down in CT and we haven't had ANY snow at all...not even a dusting. :-( It's rainy here too and my thermometer says it's 53 out there. Ridiculous!!! I know we normally have what we call a "January Thaw", but nothing was even frozen this year. I'm praying for a least one good
Nor 'easter.
