I figure if I can't get over here to post all the great Wives and Daughters posts I would like to post, I should at least let you know about a contest that will benefit Wives and Daughters...

There is a very cool giveaway over at The Cottage Porch!!!! I was getting ready to save a draft on my Homestead blog, and I saw her updated blog on the manager, and here is what I found:

Everyone has been very inspiring about blessing others through giveaways!  I am going to have one myself!  I have a brand new, not even opened, copy of "Created to be His Helpmeet" and "The Helpmeet's Journey" companion journal 

Since she already have a well used copy of both, she would like to bless someone else.


I already have the book, but I can never have enough copies with 5 girls!
I don't have the Companion Journal!

She made it really easy to enter:

Our 2 oldest daughters have created a blog carnival with HomeKeeping and Homesteading in mind:

This week we have quite a variety of Carnival entries. Grab your favorite mug and have a cuppa' tea or coffee, fresh goat's or cow's milk and spend some time with some fellow homesteaders as they share their hearts, their ideas and their experiences.

The Carnival of Homesteading 3 will be held at the SuperAngel's Horses.

The girls have received quite a few submissions to their NEW Carnival of homesteading! I think it's going to be a big hit!

Why not submit your favorite homestead post? It doesn't have to be a recent one; it just has to be homestead-y! You can submit it anytime and it will go into the next Carnival!
