Titus 2 Check List:

3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness,

not false accusers,

not given to much wine,

teachers of good things;

4 That they may teach the young women to be sober,

to love their husbands,

to love their children,

5 To be discreet,

chaste,

keepers at home,

good,

obedient to their own husbands,

that the word of God be not blasphemed.

6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works:

in doctrine shewing uncorruptness,

gravity,

sincerity,

8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned;

that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

You are a bold writer! But I liked it. I loved the quip, " Did you notice that mathematics, english, science, history, college, a high-paying job, etc. are not what we are told to excel in or live?" My daughter is graduating and she doesn't want to go to college and she is being berated and scolded by many... Poor thing... But she does know how to cook, knows how to raise kids, knows how to care for the house, etc... She will be far ahead of me when she gets married and I do hope that this makes her marriage an easier one than mine. I love my husband, but I was scolded and berated for not having homemaking skills. It's taken me years to figure out things that just came easily to my daughters... since they were allowed to learn it at home... and not have to worry so much about all the books ALL the time like I did in school. There is much worth in training our daughters up to be women of worth!
