Some days you feel like a nut...

To day we celebrate my father's 50 th birthday! (wow that makes me fell old (lol) smiles)

We have planned for lots of old (and new) frinds to come over throughout the afternoon.

This house with nine people, a dog, and three cats is almost never quiet....you get used to it...some days you feel like a nut other days you feel not so much (smile)

The basement project is going smoother than anticipated...and I 'm happy...we will gain three more bedrooms and a half bath (at least) and for very little cost mind you....I can do all the work my self....with extra hands I am always thankful and glad to have...I do admit I have fun doing this sorta stuff....it's my "alone" time with thought and Lord.

We 've been to many diferent discount places and taken down prices for what 'll need to be purchased. Last night at Lowes we'd looked into a product  made for basement floors ...its "waffer-board" with a plastic under side that keep its seperated from the concreat..sorta like a floating "Sub-Floor":floor! i think its cool and its just $1.50 a square ft! So exciting...

In just a week we are going to be working with "Walking In Light" mission's summer camp. ( www.walkinginlight.net )We  were part of the leadership team last year and it was a blast! We pray that all is even better this year! I 'm not sure how many students are coming this year.....the camp is part of W I Light's school year program....the student's through out the year go and attend bible classes and earn points that add up to an amount that lets them get scholarship to go to camp....all these kids come from the inner city project s in Worcester, MA. They come out to the camp, as it it just a day-camp, they instead of returning home, are "adopted" for the week by thier sponsor family...they do and go where the adoptive family does for that week ..its' a real intimate ministry time  to bless the kids......awesome blessings for the host family too!

All is good and set for this fall to be with Youth With A Mission out of Boston,...I'll have to  give you details later.....( www.ywamboston.org ) just thought I'd take a break from the "heat" and write a little.  Later.
